Dr. Awais Butt

Douglas County Chiropractor

Dr. Awais Butt grew up in “sunny” Buffalo, NY. As a child he had suffered from severe sinuses and allergies. Upon a trusted doctor's recommendation he had surgical procedures done to improve his intense condition. Even though the surgery was “successful” he was still suffering.

Several years later after a debilitating back injury, Dr. Awais crawled into chiropractor, Dr Kenneth Monroe's office. After having his spine adjusted, Dr Awais's back improved and his sinuses issues were resolved. Dr Awais knew at this point that God had pointed him in the right direction. After receiving a bachelor’s degree he moved to Atlanta and studied to become a chiropractor.

Dr Awais spent several years working with Dr. Rosemarie Russo at Douglasville Wellness and Chiropractic center, and in 2006 he opened his own clinic on the south side of town. Dr. Awais is truly on a mission to help families reach their God-Given potential.

He resides in Douglas county, with his wife Tabby, sons Mekaal and Zayne, fish Gopi and dog Mabel.

What Type Of Education And Training Do Chiropractors Have?

Our doctor and interns are educated as primary-contact health care providers, with a specific emphasis on the muscles, ligaments and joints of the spine and the nerves that supply them. The educational requirements for chiropractic doctors are among the most exacting of any of the health care professions.

Because chiropractic care includes highly skilled manipulation and adjusting techniques, a significant portion of training is spent in mastering these important manipulative procedures.
